Launched in 2002, the Growing Up Healthy campaign’s goal was to raise $100 million of the $400 million necessary to realize the Sainte-Justine UHC’s project for the future. But $125.4 million were raised through the unprecedented outpouring of generosity from the Québec community towards the children and future mothers who are cared for at Sainte-Justine’s. |

Donations to the campaign came not only from the business community, private foundations and major families in Québec, but from thousands of individuals as well. |

Announcing the campaign results
Surrounded by little patients, Céline Dion and René Angélil, the spokespersons for the Growing Up Healthy campaign, as well as Claude Brien Coutu and L. Jacques Ménard, O.C., the campaign co-chairs, were delighted to announce that a total of $125.4 million were raised.
