This encyclopedia was created by the staff of the Centre for Excellence for Early Childhood Development (CEECD) and the Strategic Knowledge Cluster on Early Childhood Development, whose activities are overseen by Richard E. Tremblay and Michel Boivin. The publication is aimed at political leaders, service planners and providers, as well as parents. The Lawson Foundation’s support will make it possible to develop new themes and update existing ones.

Accessible free of charge, the virtual Encyclopedia on Early Childhood Development currently covers 47 topics focusing on child development themes, from conception to the age of five. It offers the most recent scientific knowledge presented in three formats, i.e. complete articles written by world-renowned experts, synthesis of these articles, and key messages for parents.

The Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation offers its heartfelt thanks to The Lawson Foundation for its generous donation.
