A menu worthy of Ferreira Café!
The restaurant’s acclaimed chef, Marino Tavares, regaled his guests with culinary delights, all prepared right on the grill. Patrons enjoyed a real taste of summer as they dined on the freshest fish, the most succulent meats and seafood, and perfectly seasoned game. Over by the bar, bubbly aficionados enjoyed a flute or two of Pommery champagne, while those more partial to Scotch savoured a selection of premium Johnnie Walker whiskies.
Together for a great cause
The stage set with red carpets, white tents, and projection screens, and with spectacular performances by Cirque Éloize and the presence of many celebrities including Annie Dufresne, Ariane Moffat, Florence K, Maxim Lapierre and Guillaume Latendresse, this event brought everyone together for one great cause: the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation. Carlos Ferreira, a member of the Foundation’s board of directors, is stepping up his restaurant’s fundraising initiatives and hopes to be able to raise $100,000 by December 2009.
