The Lawson Foundation is continuing its support by confirming its 4-year, $240,000 commitment to the development and publication of the Encyclopedia on Early Childhood Development.

Pharmaceutical company ASTELLAS PHARMA CANADA donated $70,000 to the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation to support academic projects and the transmission of knowledge in the field of pediatric dermatology at the Sainte-Justine UHC.

We would like to thank Ruth Hornstein and Howard Dermer and their children Adam, Emily and Joshua for their donation to the ophthalmology department in honour of the excellent care provided by Dr. Superstein.

Dr Carmant’s research focuses on the mechanisms of epileptogenesis, electrophysiology and immunohistochemistry. His current projects are on the trajectories of children with epilepsy and on cognitive outcomes of children with cryptogenic infantile spasms.

The Sainte-Justine University Hospital Centre Foundation is proud to announce Scotiabank’s generous contribution of $200,000 toward the CIRCUIT program, a centre where children and adolescents aged 5 to 17 who are at risk of cardiovascular disease, along with their families, can receive personalized interventions.

Thanks to Dr. Richard E. Tremblay’s good standing in the medical and psychosocial community – and the interest generated by his work – the Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Development (CEECD) has received new support from the Bernard van Leer Foundation to continue the development of the first online Encyclopedia with the latest scientific knowledge on early childhood development.

Faithful to its mission of promoting physical exercise, health and wellness, the Forzani Group Foundation is proud to contribute $500,000 to support the CIRCUIT program, a center of intervention in cardiovascular prevention and readaptation intended for children and teenagers who present a cardiovascular risk.

Once again, Sainte-Justine was able to count on the unfailing support of Pfizer Canada through a donation of $20,000 dedicated to the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation Fellowship Matching Program.

The Sainte-Justine UHC can, once again, count on the unwavering support of Pfizer Canada Inc. thanks to a donation of $75,000 designated for the strategic recruitment of a clinical fellow who will dedicate his time to clinical research in hemophilia.

At the event Merci au savoir on October 7, a particular homage was paid to DePuy Spine for its contribution to Sainte-Justine's scholarship matching program, supporting the development of a clinical instructor in orthopedics.
