Our Role in the Community

Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation acts as a vital link between donors and the hospital, matching philanthropic interests with Sainte-Justine UHC’s most pressing needs. Today, as one of the biggest hospital foundations in Québec and Canada, it aims for maximum value, ensuring that each dollar donated makes a tangible difference in the lives of children or mothers-to-be receiving care at Sainte-Justine.

The Foundation has three roles:

  1. To raise funds for, and on behalf of, Sainte-Justine University Hospital Centre, either directly from donors or through partners. This responsibility lies solely with the Foundation;
  2. To report back to donors on how funds have been used.
  3. To issue official receipts on behalf of Sainte-Justine UHC;
